Xavier Society for the Blind
http://www.xaviersocietyfortheblind.orgFounded in 1900, the Xavier Society for the Blind is a Jesuit directed apotolate located on East 23rd Street in Manhattan. The Xavier Society serves nearly 10,000 blind, deaf-blind, visually impaired and print-disabled persons in the United States and Canada. Xavier Society for the Blind provides free Catholic spiritual and inspirational reading materials and lending library services in Braille, large print and audio CD formats. The Xavier Society maintains a staff that includes a Director and 11 full time staff.
