Welcome Volunteers

About Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of New York

Catholic Charities helps solve the problems of New Yorkers in need — non-Catholics and Catholics alike. We rebuild lives and touch almost every human need promptly, locally, day in and day out, always with compassion and dignity. Catholic Charities helps your neighbors, as you would like to be helped if your family were in need.

Our Volunteer Program Vision

At Catholic Charities we are dedicated to providing our volunteers with a high-quality volunteer experience. As part of our commitment to help vulnerable New Yorkers, non-Catholic and Catholic alike, Catholic Charities sees an organization where volunteers work as partners on all levels, and where their contributions are embraced, valued and recognized

To that end, our volunteers are essential in working with staff in delivering Catholic Charities' mission to deliver, coordinate and advocate for quality human services and programs.

Through technology and trained staff, we strive to provide a more innovative approach to volunteer management in which we will aspire to provide professionally managed, flexible and diverse opportunities.
