2022-2023 CCCS Community Resource Specialist VISTA
This is a year-long VISTA position within the Catholic Charities: USA Family Strengthening Program. This exciting internship involves representing CCCS at events, creating media contact, and supporting the department in its efforts to assist newcomers to New York City achieve self-sufficiency! What you will do:
- Assist with volunteer and intern recruitment, onboarding, training, and retention
- Stay in the know about what families arriving in NYC need in order to thrive
- Conduct community outreach and build relationships with potential partners
- Create promotional materials for events
- Track in-kind and financial donations

Qualifications:
- 18 years of age or older
- A U.S. citizen, national, or legal permanent resident, or have Refugee status, Asylum, Temporary Protected Status or Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals
